Pumpkin is everywhere these days.
On blogs.
In recipes.
At farmer’s markets.
On your face.
Aloette has finally brought back my favourite facial product: the Warming Pumpkin Facial Masque.
Product description (from the Aloette website):
Reveal a glowing, silky smooth complexion with Aloette’s Warming Pumpkin Masque—a longtime favorite back by popular demand! This energizing formula releases vitamin E when massaged into the skin, creating a gentle warming sensation as it exfoliates. Pumpkin extract and kaolin polish dull, lifeless skin from sight as jojoba lavishly hydrates for a visibly softer, more youthful finish.
I love this stuff.
It smells good enough to eat and I love the warming sensation as you rub it into your face. Aloette suggests you massage it until the warming sensation stops, than wet your hands and massage again to reactivate the warming sensation. This second step results in maximum vitamin E penetration. Once the warming sensation stops a second time simply rinse throughly and continue on with your day – with glowing skin!
I keep it in the shower and use it a few times a week after I clean my face with my regular cleanser.
I would use it everyday but then it wouldn’t last as long 🙂
Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Aloette except for the fact that a friend sells it, but I was not compensated for my views and opinions. These reviews are just that, my views and opinions. Sometimes good, sometimes bad, but always honest.
Oooooh I got all excited to try this until I clicked over and saw how much it cost *sniffle*. Ah well, makes my guilt over wanting to buy some Ocean Salt from LUSH seem a bit silly lmao 😉
It’s on sale right now for $28 🙂
I love products that smell good enough to eat. That’s actually why I love using coconut oil on my face…I love licking my lips after. Is that weird? Ha! This pumpkin mask sounds lovely!
Yum! I may just have to try that…I can always use more coconut oil in my tummy 🙂
Um I love Aloette! My grandmother use to sell it years ago. I had like every product they made when I was 16!
I have a few of the products now – the scrub, the enzyme peel, and the nutrition spray which I love, love, love!
I have to admit I have never seen the pumpkin mask??
I’ve only used the pumpkin mask and the Soother & Smooth lip scrub/balm thing (love this too!) My coworker swears by Aloette though. Me? I’m an Avon girl 🙂 I love how businesses like Aloette and Avon are still around!
I had a pumpkin facial once I think it was from prescriptive nourishment? This sounds great. I may as well spread it on my fave, I don’t do much with pumpkin except for the seeds.
I always make sure to roast the seeds after we carve pumpkins. Love them.
